Qualification
Candidates must have the required educational qualification for the post they are applying for. The qualifications and experience mentioned in the notification are given below.
- GIS Expert: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & Forestry, or a related discipline from a recognized University. A Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing may also be considered with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.
- System Analyst / IT Manager: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science / IT. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Network & Communication Technician: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field from a recognized Institution/University. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in network administration or communication systems maintenance is required.
- Technical Assistant (GIS): Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Computer Science or IT. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Technical Assistant (Graphical Designer): Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Multimedia or Graphic Design. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Wireless Operator: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University, or Diploma/Certification in Wireless Communication, Radio Communication, Electronics, Telecommunication or a related field.
Additional skills such as GIS software knowledge, website development, network administration, graphic design software, wireless communication and computer applications are mentioned as required or desirable depending on the post.
Salary Details
- GIS Expert: Rs.65,000/- per Month (Consolidated)
- System Analyst / IT Manager: Rs.70,000/- per Month (Consolidated)
- Network & Communication Technician: Rs.50,000/- per Month (Consolidated)
- Technical Assistant (GIS): Rs.35,750/- per Month (Consolidated)
- Technical Assistant (Graphical Designer): Rs.35,750/- per Month (Consolidated)
- Wireless Operator: Rs.22,020/- per Month
The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for a period of one year, subject to assessment and extension at the end of the tenure.
