Qualification
For ITI Trade Apprentices
- Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognised institute.
- The year of passing does not apply to ITI candidates.
For Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices
- Candidates must have a regular full-time Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject from a UGC-approved university.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.

Other Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must have completed 18 years of age on or before 31st October 2026.
- Candidates from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must not have previously completed or currently be undergoing the NAPS/NATS or PM Internship Scheme at NLC India Limited or elsewhere.
- Candidates claiming reservation must submit the required certificates in the prescribed format.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must have a valid OBC-NCL certificate in the prescribed format, valid from 1st April 2026.
Salary Details
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Rs. 12,000 per month
- Graduate Apprentices in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Application, Geology, Micro Biology and Chemistry: Rs. 14,174 per month
- Graduate Apprentices in Pharmacist (Allopathy), Pharmacist (Ayurveda) and Nursing: Rs. 16,678 per month
For the applicable graduate categories, Rs. 6,150 of the monthly stipend will be paid by the Government under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme, as stated in the notification.
Apprenticeship training at NLC India Limited does not guarantee temporary or permanent employment in the company.

Selection Process

- If the university awards CGPA or grades instead of marks, the percentage will be calculated according to the university’s conversion method.

- If two or more candidates have the same percentage at the cut-off level, preference will be given to the older candidate based on date of birth.
