IOCL has announced 470 vacancies under different posts. The post-wise details are given below.
- Graduate Engineer in Grade ‘A’ – 360 Posts
- Officer (Marketing) in Grade ‘A’ – Vacancies as mentioned in the official notification
- Officer (Law) in Grade ‘A’ – 10 Posts
- Assistant Quality Control Officer in Grade ‘A0’ – 9 Posts
- Diploma Engineer in Grade ‘E0’ – 50 Posts

Qualification
The educational qualification is different for each post. Candidates should have the required qualification before applying.
- Graduate Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in the required engineering discipline.
- Officer (Marketing): MBA or PG Diploma in Business Administration with Marketing specialization.
- Officer (Law): Any Degree with LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB. The required work experience is also applicable.
- Assistant Quality Control Officer: Master’s Degree in Chemistry-related subjects with the required work experience.
- Diploma Engineer: 3-year Engineering Diploma in the required discipline.

- Graduate Engineer in Grade ‘A’: Rs.50,000 – Rs.1,60,000
- Officer (Marketing) in Grade ‘A’: Rs.50,000 – Rs.1,60,000
- Officer (Law) in Grade ‘A’: Rs.50,000 – Rs.1,60,000
- Assistant Quality Control Officer in Grade ‘A0’: Rs.40,000 – Rs.1,40,000
- Diploma Engineer in Grade ‘E0’: Rs.30,000 – Rs.1,20,000
Age Limit
The age limit is different for each post. The age will be calculated as per the date mentioned in the official notification.
- Graduate Engineer: 18 to 26 years
- Officer (Marketing): 18 to 28 years
- Officer (Law): 18 to 30 years
- Assistant Quality Control Officer: 18 to 30 years
- Diploma Engineer: 18 to 26 years
Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved category candidates as per government rules.
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PwBD General/EWS Candidates: 10 years
- PwBD SC/ST Candidates: 15 years
- PwBD OBC Candidates: 13 years
