India Post Skilled Artisan Recruitment 2026: The Department of Posts (India Post) has released an official notification to recruit Skilled Artisan posts at the Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru. Candidates who have passed 8th Standard with relevant work experience or possess a Government-recognized ITI certificate can apply for these posts. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month. Interested and eligible candidates should submit their offline.

Qualification

• Candidates should possess a Government-recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
• OR
• Candidates who have passed 8th Standard with at least one year of work experience in the relevant trade are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants applying based on 8th Standard qualification must submit a valid one-year experience certificate.
• For the M.V. Mechanic post, candidates must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence to test drive vehicles during service.

Salary Details

• Salary: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years

• Women / SC / ST Candidates: No Application Fee
• Other Candidates: Rs. 400
• The examination fee of Rs. 400 should be paid only by candidates shortlisted for the Trade Test through IPO or UCR Receipt in favour of “The Manager, Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru-01”.

• Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Trade Test.
