Income Tax Mumbai Recruitment 2026 – 97 Sports Quota Vacancies Notification

Income Tax Department, Mumbai has released a new recruitment notification to fill 97 vacancies under Sports Quota. Applications are invited from eligible and talented sportspersons for the posts of Stenographer Grade-II, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff. Qualification

• Stenographer Grade-II: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
• Tax Assistant: Graduate degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification
• Multi-Tasking Staff: 10th class pass from a recognized Board
• Applicants must be eligible sportspersons as per the official notification

Salary Details

• Stenographer Grade-II: Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100 per month
• Tax Assistant: Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100 per month
• Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs.18,000 – Rs.56,900 per month

Age Limit

• Stenographer Grade-II: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
• Tax Assistant: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
• Multi-Tasking Staff: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules
