IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 13,706 Posts – Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, II & III

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs-XV) for recruitment to Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose). A total of 13,706 indicative vacancies are available under this recruitment. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 01 September 2026 to 21 September 2026.

The recruitment process will be conducted for participating Regional Rural Banks across the country. Candidates can apply for Office Assistant and one post in the Officers’ cadre, subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Qualification

The educational qualification and post-qualification experience must be possessed as on 21 September 2026.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is required.
• Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Preference will be given to candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
• Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is required.
• Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II (IT Officer):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Desirable certificates include ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant):

• Certified Associate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Chartered Accountant.

Officer Scale-II (Law Officer):

• Degree in Law from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager):

• Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized University/Institution.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer):

• MBA in Marketing from a recognized University.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Officer Scale-II (Agriculture Officer):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture or equivalent.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Preference will be given to candidates having a Degree/Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

The result of the qualifying educational examination must have been declared on or before 21 September 2026.

Salary Details

The CRP RRBs-XV notification does not specify a consolidated salary amount for the posts in the notification. The selected candidates will receive pay and allowances as applicable under the service rules of the respective Regional Rural Bank.

Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as on 01 September 2026.

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 years
• Officer Scale-I: Above 18 years and below 30 years
• Officer Scale-II: Above 21 years and below 32 years
• Officer Scale-III: Above 21 years and below 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as prescribed in the notification.
• Other applicable relaxations will be provided as per Government of India rules and the detailed notification.

For Office Assistant, candidates should not have been born earlier than 02 September 1998 and later than 01 September 2008. For Officer Scale-I, the prescribed date-of-birth range is 02 September 1996 to 01 September 2008. For Officer Scale-II, it is 02 September 1994 to 01 September 2005. For Officer Scale-III, it is 02 September 1986 to 01 September 2005.

Officer Scale-I, II & III:

• SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/- including GST
• All Other Candidates: Rs. 850/- including GST

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM Candidates: Rs. 175/- including GST
• All Other Candidates: Rs. 850/- including GST

Bank transaction charges for online payment have to be borne by the candidate.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• Preliminary Examination

Officer Scale-I:

Officer Scale-II and Scale-III:

• Single Online Examination
• Common Interview
• Provisional Allotment

For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, the Preliminary Examination is followed by the Main Examination. Officers Scale-II and III will appear for a Single Online Examination. Shortlisted Officer candidates will subsequently be called for the Common Interview.

Preliminary Examination Pattern:

• Office Assistant: Reasoning – 40 questions/40 marks and Numerical Ability – 40 questions/40 marks.
• Officer Scale-I: Reasoning – 40 questions/40 marks and Quantitative Aptitude – 40 questions/40 marks.
• Total: 80 questions and 80 marks.
• Duration: 45 minutes.

For the Main Examination of Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, and the Single Examination for Officer Scale-II and III, the detailed examination structure will be as prescribed by IBPS in the notification and Information Handout.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must apply online through the official IBPS website. No other mode of application will be accepted.

• Visit the official IBPS website.
• Open the CRP for RRBs section.
• Select the appropriate application link for Officers Scale-I, II & III or Office Assistants (Multipurpose).
• Click on New Registration.
• Enter the required basic details and complete the registration.
• Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password generated by the system.
• Upload the required photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
• Upload the required SSC/SSLC/10th certificate and other applicable certificates/documents.
• Fill in the remaining details carefully.
• Pay the applicable application fee through online mode.
• Verify all the details before clicking the Complete Registration button.
• Submit the application form.
• Take a printout of the submitted application form and e-receipt for future reference.

Candidates can apply for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) as well as one post in the Officers’ cadre. A candidate can apply for only one of Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II or Officer Scale-III. Separate applications and fees are required for each post.

For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, candidates must select the State/Union Territory for provisional allotment in the online application. Once exercised, this option cannot be changed.
