DGQA Chennai Recruitment 2026: The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence has released an official recruitment notification to fill 15 Technician (Semi-Skilled) Group ‘C’ posts. Candidates who have completed ITI and are interested in Central Government Jobs can apply through offline mode before the last date.

Qualification

• Fitter Auto: ITI in Automobile Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.
• Electrician Mate: ITI in Electrician trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.
• Labourer: ITI in any trade or equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.

Salary Details

• Technician (Semi-Skilled) Group ‘C’: Pay Level-1
• Salary: Rs.18,000 – Rs.56,900 per month

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 14 August 2026.
• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation
• OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years relaxation
• PwBD (UR): 10 Years relaxation
• PwBD (OBC): 13 Years relaxation
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government rules.
