CECRI Karaikudi Recruitment 2026: 50 Project Assistant & Project Associate Posts – Apply Online

CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi has released a new recruitment notification for 50 vacancies under different project-based positions. The recruitment includes posts such as Senior Project Associate, Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II, and Project Assistant-II. Candidates who have completed Diploma, B.E/B.Tech, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech and other related qualifications can apply for these posts through online mode. Qualification

• Senior Project Associate posts require B.Tech/B.E, M.Tech/M.E, M.Sc, or Ph.D in relevant subjects with R&D experience.
• Project Associate-II posts require M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science or related subjects with research experience.
• Project Associate-I posts require M.Sc, Integrated Masters, B.E/B.Tech in relevant engineering or science disciplines.
• Project Assistant-II posts require B.Sc or Diploma in relevant subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Candidates with experience in Electrochemistry, Batteries, AI/ML, Embedded Systems, Hydrogen Studies, Material Science, and related research areas will get preference.

Salary Details

• Senior Project Associate – Rs.42,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-II – Rs.20,000/- to Rs.28,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-I – Rs.30,000/- to Rs.31,000/- + HRA
• Project Assistant-II – Salary as per project norms

Age Limit

• Senior Project Associate – Maximum 40 Years
• Project Associate-II – Maximum 35 Years
• Project Associate-I – Maximum 35 Years / 50 Years (depends on post)
• Age relaxation will be provided as per Government rules.
• SC/ST Candidates – 5 Years Relaxation
• OBC Candidates – 3 Years Relaxation
• PwBD Candidates – Additional relaxation as per rules
• Ex-Servicemen – As per Government Policy
