Qualification
- Trade Apprentice: Candidates must have passed 10th/High School and ITI in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognised institute. For Welder, NCVT qualification is required.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Candidates must have passed 10th/High School and a full-time Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognised institute. Minimum 60% marks are required for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Graduate Apprentice in Engineering: Candidates must have passed 10+2 and a full-time B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. Minimum 60% marks are required for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Graduate Apprentice – Accountant: Candidates must have passed 10+2 and B.Com as a full-time course from a recognised institution.
- Graduate Apprentice – Assistant-HR: Candidates must have passed 10+2 and the required graduation qualification as mentioned in the official notification.
- For Diploma and Graduate Apprentice posts, only candidates who completed their qualifying Diploma/Degree during the eligible years mentioned in the notification can apply.
- Candidates must also complete the required registration on the NATS or NAPS apprenticeship portal before applying through the BHEL portal.

Salary Details
- Trade Apprentices: Rs. 10,560/- to Rs. 11,040/- per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 10,900/- per month
- Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 12,300/- per month
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age for UR Candidates: 27 Years
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 years relaxation
- PwD Candidates: Age relaxation as per government rules
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per government rules
- Age will be calculated as on 1st August 2026.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:

Final selection will be made based on the candidate’s eligibility, marks and successful document verification as per BHEL rules.

- Register and fill in the required details correctly.
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit the application before the last date.
- Take a printout or save a copy of the submitted application for future use.
