Qualification
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3 Years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Technician C: SSLC + ITI + 1-year Apprenticeship or SSLC + 3 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate course.
Salary Details
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs. 24,500 – 3% – Rs. 90,000 + admissible allowances.
- Technician C: Rs. 21,500 – 3% – Rs. 82,000 + admissible allowances.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years (as on 01.10.2025)

Application Fee
- For GEN / OBC (NCL) / EWS Candidates: Rs. 500 + 18% GST = Rs. 590/-
- For SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen Candidates: No Fee
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Selection Process
- The selection will be done through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted at Chennai.
- Part I – General Aptitude (50 Marks): Logical Reasoning, Analytical, Comprehension, Basic Numeracy, Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.
- Part II – Technical Aptitude (100 Marks): Questions from respective technical disciplines.
- Candidates will receive call letters through the BEL website; they must download and print it themselves.
- No hard copy of the call letter will be sent via post or email.
