Southern Railway Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 14 Scouts & Guides Quota Posts

Southern Railway has released an official notification for the recruitment of 14 posts under the Scouts & Guides Quota. Candidates who are interested in starting their career with the Indian Railways can apply online before the last date, 29th September 2025.

Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10 or ITI or an equivalent qualification. They may also have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Candidates with 10th plus ITI or NAC are also eligible to apply.

Salary Details

Salary will be given as per Southern Railway norms and will vary based on the position and pay level.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years
• OBC Candidates: 3 Years Relaxation
• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years Relaxation
• PWD (UR) Candidates: 10 Years Relaxation
• PWD (OBC) Candidates: 13 Years Relaxation
• PWD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 Years Relaxation

Application Fee

• For SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-
• For Other Candidates: Rs. 500/-
• Mode of Payment: Online

Selection Process

The selection process will include the following stages:

• Written Test
• Marks on Certificates
• Community Certificate Verification
• Medical Examination
