BHAVINI Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply for 50 Trade Apprentice Vacancies

Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI), a Government of India Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has invited applications for the engagement of 50 Trade Apprentices at Kalpakkam, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu. Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed application form along with the required documents. The last date for receipt of the completed application is 1st October 2026. BHAVINI has issued this notification for Trade Apprenticeship engagement on stipend basis under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1991, as amended from time to time.

The category-wise distribution of vacancies is SC/ST – 9, OBC (NCL) – 13, EWS – 5 and UR – 23.

Qualification

Candidates must have passed the required 10th standard qualification and possess an ITI Pass Certificate in the relevant trade. The trade-wise qualification requirements are given below:

• Fitter: 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Fitter Trade.
• Machinist: 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Machinist Trade.
• Digital Photographer / Photographer: 10th pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent, or 10th pass with Science (Physics and Chemistry), and ITI Pass Certificate in Digital Photographer / Photographer Trade.
• Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) / Fitter: 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) or Fitter Trade.
• Computer Operator and Programming Assistant: 10th pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant Trade.
• Instrument Mechanic: 10th pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Instrument Mechanic Trade.
• Electrician: 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Electrician Trade.
• Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning: 10th pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Mechanic Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Trade.
• Draughtsman (Mechanical): 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or equivalent, and ITI Pass Certificate in Draughtsman (Mechanical) Trade.

Salary Details

Stipend: The minimum stipend is Rs. 9,600/- for candidates who have been engaged after completing a one-year ITI course.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 16 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years for General and EWS Candidates
• Age will be calculated as on: 1st October 2026

Age Relaxation:

• SC Candidates: Up to 5 years
• OBC (NCL) Candidates: Up to 3 years
• PWBD Candidates: Up to 10 years

Application Fee

The notification does not specify any application fee for the Trade Apprentice engagement.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for apprenticeship training based on the marks obtained in their ITI standard/course and trade competency.

The selection process may include:

• Shortlisting based on ITI marks and trade competency
• Trade Test / Certificate Verification
• Medical Examination

The engagement of apprentices is subject to qualifying the standard medical examination prescribed by the competent authority.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should follow the steps given below to apply for the BHAVINI Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026:

• First, register on the Apprenticeship India portal for enrolment as an apprentice.
• Obtain the Unique Enrolment ID from the Apprenticeship India portal.
• Complete the Aadhaar verification of the enrolment on the Apprenticeship India portal.
• Take a screenshot of the “AADHAR verified” status and attach the hard copy with the application.
• Download the prescribed Application Form (Annexure-I) from the BHAVINI website.
• Fill out the application form in the prescribed format, preferably typed on A4-size paper.
• Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the space provided.
• Attach all required self-attested certificates and documents.
• Write the following on the outer cover of the envelope: “APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF TRADE APPRENTICE against Notice No. BHAVINI/HR/TA-V/2026-2027”.
• Send the completed application along with all supporting documents to the prescribed address.
