Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) has announced a recruitment for 10 vacancies in posts like Office Assistant, Draftsman, Technician and Store Keeper. Qualification

The educational qualification is different for each post. Candidates should also have the required relevant work experience mentioned in the notification.

• Office Assistant: Any Degree with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience. Computer knowledge is preferred.
• Draftsman (Mechanical): 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Naval Architecture Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience. AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Draftsman (Electrical): 3-Year Diploma in Electrical, E&E or Instrumentation and Communication Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience. AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Technician (Electrical): SSLC with ITI and NTC/NAC in Electrician trade along with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Store Keeper: Graduate with PG Diploma in Materials Management or 3-Year Engineering Diploma with 2 years of relevant storekeeping experience.

Salary Details

• Office Assistant: Rs.25,000/- per month
• Draftsman (Mechanical): Rs.29,520/- per month
• Draftsman (Electrical): Rs.29,520/- per month

• Store Keeper: Rs.25,000/- per month

The salary will be provided as mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Age relaxation will be given to eligible reserved category candidates as per government rules.
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
• PwBD candidates: Relaxation as per the applicable rules
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per government rules
