Qualification
Candidates must have any one of the following educational qualifications as on 13th August 2026:
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university.
- OR B.Sc (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university.
- Candidates must be registered as Nurses and Midwives with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
- OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute, board, or council.
- GNM candidates must be registered as Nurses and Midwives with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
- GNM candidates must have two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after completing the required educational qualification.
Salary Details
- Post Name: Nursing Officer
- Pay Level: Level 7
- Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/-
Age Limit
The age limit will be calculated as on 13th August 2026.
- UR Candidates: 18 to 30 Years
- SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years relaxation
- PwD – UR Candidates: 10 Years relaxation
- PwD – OBC (NCL) Candidates: 13 Years relaxation
- PwD – SC / ST Candidates: 15 Years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government rules
Application Fee
- SC / ST / EWS / PwD Candidates: Rs. 2,400/-
- Other Candidates: Rs. 3,000/-

- The application fee of eligible SC / ST candidates who appear in the examination will be refunded after the declaration of results and verification of their certificates, as per the notification.
