Qualification
Candidates must have completed a three-year or five-year LLB Degree with at least 55% aggregate marks from a college or university recognized by the Bar Council of India. Applicants should have appeared for the CLAT PG 2026 examination conducted in December 2025. A valid CLAT PG 2026 score is compulsory for all candidates, including those who have completed or are pursuing an LLM. Candidates must also be eligible for registration as an Advocate under the Bar Council of India or the respective State Bar Council. Unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will undergo training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend equivalent to the starting pay of a Lieutenant. After successful completion of training, they will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army. The starting pay is Level-10, Rs.56,100 to Rs.1,77,500 per month, along with Military Service Pay (MSP) and other allowances as per Government rules.
Age Limit
Candidates should be between 21 and 27 years of age as on 1st January 2027. Applicants must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 2000 and not later than 1st January 2006, both dates inclusive.
