This recruitment is to fill 34 Coach and Para Coach vacancies across different sports disciplines. Candidates who have interest and proper training in sports can apply for these posts through online mode. The last date to apply online is 25th January 2026 at 05.00 PM.

Qualification
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC recognized university.
- Must have completed any one of the following professional qualifications:
- Diploma in Sports Coaching (minimum 10 months) from NIS or SAI.
- PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from TNPESU.
- PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from LNIPE.
- Should have represented Tamil Nadu in National School Games or National level competitions.
- Or should have represented Universities in Inter-University National level competitions.
- For Coach – Para:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC recognized university.
- Should have represented Tamil Nadu in competitions conducted by MYAS or recognized federations.

Salary Details
- Selected candidates will be paid as per Tamil Nadu Government Pay Level 12.
- Pay Scale for Coach: Rs.35,600 – Rs.1,30,800
- Pay Scale for Para Coach: Rs.35,600 – Rs.1,30,800
Age Limit
- SC / SC(A) / ST / MBC / BC / BCM: 21 to 50 Years
- Others Category: 21 to 45 Years
- Destitute Widow: 21 to 50 Years
- Coach – Para (Persons with Benchmark Disability): 21 to 55 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 01.07.2026.

Selection Process
- Professional Qualification
- Medals achieved in the relevant sport
- Coaching Experience
- Tamil Language Test (minimum 40% marks required)
- Sports General Awareness Test
- Discipline specific performance evaluation and viva voce
